Uncertainty! 1-23-2016
I hate uncertainty! Having always been somewhat of a control freak, I really hate it when the unknown is peering out in front of me and I have no idea what to do. I will give my worries to God but usually end up taking them back and worrying about them again. The bible says that God gives us trials to make us strong by learning to depend on Him. I don’t know about you but I am terribly weak and find it almost impossible to relinquish everything to God. Forgive me Father, help me learn from my weaknesses. Help me grow strong by knowing that you have everything under control. Some days I feel like a very slow learner!
Help us Lord to lean on you. Our world tells us that we are in charge, we deserve the best, that we have earned whatever good comes our way. This world lies to us. Help us to learn to listen only to you.
