I have to constantly remind myself that God’s timing is always the best timing.

It’s been a year now since I published my book God’s Glorious Garden. It has been a frustrating year.  I had no idea what to expect.  Of course like every author, I dreamed it would be an immediate success.  Unfortunately not.  I have had moderate success, it’s now available in two book stores locally.

I must also thank my many friends, family and my church family for their love and support.  I have been overwhelmed by their unfailing encouragement.  That helps keep me going while I continue to promote my book.

Back to God’s timing, I have to continue to trust him.  I honestly believe he has given me something to share with others.  It’s not just a children’s book, many teachable moments can be found in it.  That’s why I have included free lesson plans along with other activities on my website.  So I will continue to promote my little book.  While doing this, I will soon complete my second book.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”  Proverbs 3: 5 and 6.  NIV.
