Confused???

This is my front yard.  Yes, I know it’s the middle of February.  And even though we live in the deep south, my azaleas seem to be very confused.

The confusion the seasons are experiencing seems to be carrying over into other aspects of my everyday life.  I am very confused about a lot of things; at the moment I am confused about technology.  My Iphone is not working like it should!  I don’t understand why and I am totally frustrated.  This blog would have been out a few days ago but my phone troubles have set me back.  And,  I am aggravated  with myself for becoming so dependant on it!

Fortunately I have  one constant in my life that I can always go to when I need help.   God!   Whenever things get really crazy, I can always open my bible and find an answer for just about anything.  I believe the key word is trust.

“But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation.  I will sing the Lord’s praise, for he has been good to me.”  Psalms 13: 5 and 6  NIV

Yes, the Lord has been very good to me.  As crazy as this season has been, I am so thankful that my flowers were able to spring forth, live their beautiful life, and not be cut short by freezing temperatures.  My family and friends have been able to share in their glory.  This is a beautiful reminder of God’s love and promise of new life.
