While keeping my six and a half year old granddaughter this week, I asked her for advice on our world today. She said, ” Love everybody in this world. Be kind and nice to everyone. Love every country, and love God and nature”.
Wow! How simple yet how profound. I wonder why we can’t all share this simple perspective on life. People would help those in need, and we could stop worrying about the proliferation of violence that seems to be all around. Maybe this isn’t realistic, but it is my dream as well.
I believe that is why we need God in our life. We need that hope we probably all shared when we were young. We will never have complete peace and joy in this life. But when we love God and trust His word, we know that we have the hope of paradise.
“so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.” Titus 3:7 NIV.
