Unfortunately, Satan is alive and well in our world today.  If you don’t believe it, just turn on the TV for a few minutes.   And people will say, “Where is God in all of this?”  He is right here, just waiting on us to call on His name for help.  As humans I believe we see what we choose to see, we can see good, or we can see evil.

It’s easy to become overwhelmed in these difficult times.  I am guilty of this as well.  We wrap ourselves in our own problems and sorrows and it’s easy to forget to look for the good that is still out there.  God never promised us an easy life.  He did, however, promise us eternal life in Heaven if we choose to follow him.

So hold on tight to the word of God.

• Pray without ceasing.
• Surround yourself with Christian friends.
• Go to church.
• Find a Bible Study group.
• Read books by Christian authors.
• Give to those who have less.
• Be kind.
